The Riverside Airport (RIV) is the civilian facility that is managed and operated by the MIP Airport Authority (MIPAA). With premier aviation facilities, RIV can accommodate the largest of air cargo and passenger aircraft.  These facilities and services fall under a larger entity called the March Joint Powers Authority (March JPA).

The March JPA along with the U.S. Air Force pursued the establishment of March Air Field as a public joint use airport. The Air Force defines a “joint use airport” as one where the facilities which are owned and operated by the Air Force are made available for use by civil aviation. A joint use agreement between these parties was executed May 7, 1997, along with land leases for over 350 acres, as the civilian airport name March Inland Port.

Million Air at RIV is located at March Air Reserve Base, a joint use airport located in Riverside, CA. Million Air is the dedicated fuel provider to the March Inland Port Airport Authority, a commercial and general aviation civil airport authority.

With a 13,300 foot runway, large parking aprons and taxiways, we are capable of handling General Aviation, Corporate, Military Charter, and Military aircraft. Million Air has been awarded a government fuel contract and our fuel provider is World Fuel Services. Million Air provides ground handling support for the US Army National Training Center flights in and out of March. We provide fuel support for UPS operations during their peak shipping season.

RIV is also centered in one of the fastest growing distribution and logistics areas of the United States, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) #244. We can provide limited cargo capabilities for many carriers. The airport and County region has an abundance of excellent ground access (inter-state highways, rail, and public transportation) to the greater Los Angeles, San Diego, and Palm Springs areas.
